In September 2006, the Technology Center of WEGO Holding Co., Ltd. ( WEGO Holding) was recognized as a national-level enterprise technology center by five ministries and commissions of the People\'s Republic of China, i.e. the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Finance, the General Administration of Customs and the State Taxation Administration. It is a hi-tech enterprise specialized in the research, development, production and sale of new molecular diagnostic technologies. It attaches great importance to produce research, development and industrialization, cooperates with domestic experts in the field of molecular diagnostics in multiple directions, and introduces advanced science and technology at home and abroad. Currently, it has established a molecular diagnostic technology industrialization base integrating research, development and production in the Future Science and Technology City of Tianjin Binhai Hi-tech Industrial Development Area, with a research & development laboratory of 4,420 square meters and a production workshop of 9,980 square meters. There are 16 main products, including biochip detection related instruments, automated nucleic acid extraction instruments, molecular diagnostic reagents, nucleic acid extraction reagents and fast PCR reagents, etc.
